Unnamed space rpg puzzle(-ish) game!
Made for kowaiowlparade as part of the Secret Santa Jam, December 2023!

About
This is a short, space-themed creature-collector RPG written in a custom voxel engine. Battle is played by placing tiles on a grid and surrounding other pieces to "claim" them and deal bonus damage. Enemies attack by shooting to destroy player tiles.
It didn't really get tested, so things may be out of balance and/or broken. With that in mind, it includes a "win battle" key (keyboard F1) so that you can advance through to see the (admittedly small) story if you like.

Install instructions
Extract all zipped files to a folder and launch "space-puzzle-rpg.exe" from within the folder.

WOW! Fantastic Game! Thanks so much for making it for me. You managed to cram a lot in to this game for a game jam. Creating a whole new RPG mechanic that incorporates the puzzle mechanics I asked for was quite impressive. It would be fascinating to see what could have been done if this were expanded into a more finished game. You are a truly talented developer, and I am glad I got this special game from you.
